The Rebbe on Unwarranted Love

During his very first formal address, the Rebbe established the cornerstone of his leadership. "There are three principles: love of God, love of Torah, and love of every Jew. Since they are all really one, none can exist without the others. If you want to express love for God or the Torah, you must show love to every Jew..." It is a sentiment that's especially relevant during this time of year, as we mourn the destruction of the Holy Temples in Jerusalem. They were destroyed due to senseless hatred between Jews, and with unconditional love the Temple will be rebuilt, with the speedy arrival of Moshiach.
