Kohen Blessing with Matisyahu on the grounds of the Nova Festival

A number of weeks ago, I went down south to cry, pray and feel the energy of what took place at the Nova festival. The pain and the emotions of the moment were so raw and real. Words will never do it justice. While there, I bumped into Matisyahu and his son, hadn’t seen each other in years. On the grounds of spilled Jewish blood, with the most broken of hearts, it felt so right to bless a father and son with the priestly blessing. The Uber talented Shlomo Weprin was there, capturing the moment. My dear friend Mendy Portnoy saw the footage and added his musical charm.
