R' Aryeh Lev Katzin speaking for Chazaq in Russian on "Who is a King?"
Rabbi Aryeh (Lev) Katzin was a Jewish activist in Moscow, teaching Torah and Hebrew in the underground movement during the years 1977-1981. When he received permission to emigrate, he continued his Torah studies in Israel. In 1987, he founded the Sinai Academy High School in Brooklyn. For 15 years, Rabbi Katzin produced a weekly program for "The Voice of America," with millions of listeners in the former Soviet Union. He publishes Russian language newspapers such as Yevreiski Mir and Forum, appears weekly on Russian television networks and speaks on Davidzon Radio in New York. Rabbi Katzin teaches at RAJE and educational trips to Israel for young Russian-speaking American Jews. This lecture took place on September 6th 2015 at the Beth Gavriel Center in Forest Hills, Queens, NY. The event was presented by the CHAZAQ organization and dedicated in memory of Yochai ben Frecho.
