This was first recorded in 1939 by Vera Lynn. It’s been covered by Johnny Cash, Frank Sinatra and more. Recently it’s been featured in a few famous TV shows like Stranger Things and Westworld. I decided to translate it into Yiddish. As the saying goes: “Everything Sounds Better in Yiddish”. זיך ווידערזעהן, איך ווייס נישט ווי, איך ווייס נישט ווען, אבער איך ווייס מיר וועלן זיך טרעפן איין זוניק טאג. בלייב שמייכלען גאר, טאג ביי טאג יאר נאך יאר, ביז די בלויע הימלען האט די כמארנע וואלקען פאריאגט. ביטע שיקען א גריס ווען די ביסט אין א שמועס, זאג זיי, זארג נישט ר׳ איד, ס׳וועט פריילעך זיי זיין, אז ווען די האסט מיר געזעהן גיין, האב איך געזינגען דאס ליד.
