Yesterday, HaRav Hershel Schachter Shlita, Rosh Yeshiva of REITS at Yeshiva University, apologized after learning that his name had been added to a clemency request he never intended to be part of. He asked for his name to be removed and expressed genuine regret to victims who were hurt. At a time when survivors often feel overlooked, his humility and clarity matter.
