The 10 Miracles Created Before Shabbat PART 1 - MUSSAR Pirkei Avot (92)

Rabbi Yaron Reuven 885 views

In this Shiur by Rabbi Yaron Reuven, he discusses the 10 miracles created before Shabbat as mentioned in the Pirkei Avot. These 10 things were not actually created during that time, but rather the potential for their creation was established. The purpose of their creation at that specific time was to highlight the importance of Shabbat, as even God refrains from creating on Shabbat. These miracles include the mouth of the earth, the mouth of the well, the mouth of Balaam's donkey, the rainbow, manna bread, the staff of Moses, the Shamir worm, the script, the tablets of the Ten Commandments, demons, the grave of Michelle Ben Yosef, and the ram of Abraham. These creations were left incomplete and did not come into effect until later, serving as a reminder of the sanctity of Shabbat and refraining from creating on this day.
