I had a client who carried so much pain and so many symptoms. When I simply said, you must have been in so much pain, she froze and started crying. She told me no one had ever said that to her. I didn’t use any fancy techniques or training. All I did was validate her. Imagine if children were validated from a young age. How much suffering could be prevented before therapy is ever needed?
