Surviving & Thriving After Trauma In this powerful community presentation, Nechama Meyer shares her deeply personal story of surviving abuse, pursuing justice, and finding the strength to rebuild her life. Nechama is a survivor of convicted abuser Malka Leifer and one of the voices that helped expose years of abuse and bring international attention to the case. Her story includes not only the trauma itself, but the long legal battle that followed, the courage required to speak out, and the complicated realities survivors often face within their own communities. This evening featured the first trailer screening in the United States of the documentary Surviving Malka Leifer, followed by an open and courageous conversation about trauma, justice, and how communities can better support survivors.
