Hundreds of sacred seforim were burned in an antisemitic arson attack at the historic Kloiz Kaddisha of Sadigura, Ukraine—one of Europe’s most iconic Hasidic synagogues, founded over 200 years ago by the Heiliger Ruzhiner. After a nine-year restoration, the synagogue was deliberately set on fire, causing severe damage and recalling the darkest chapters of Jewish history. An emergency delegation led by the Sadigura Rebbe, Rabbi Mordechai Shalom Yosef Friedman, gathered the burned holy books and held a historic burial ceremony, describing the scene as reminiscent of the Holocaust. Despite the devastation, the Jewish community of Sadigura has vowed to rebuild and ensure that this sacred place continues to stand as a beacon of Torah, prayer, and Hasidic heritage. מאות ספרי קודש נשרפו בפיגוע הצתה אנטישמי בבית הכנסת ההיסטורי קלויז קדישא בסאדיגורה, אוקראינה – אחד מבתי הכנסת החסידיים המפוארים והעתיקים באירופה, שנוסד לפני למעלה מ־200 שנה על ידי הרה״ק מרוז׳ין. לאחר תשע שנות שיקום מדוקדק, הוצת בית הכנסת במכוון, ונגרם לו נזק כבד שהחזיר זיכרונות מהימים האפלים ביותר בתולדות העם היהודי. משלחת חירום בראשות האדמו״ר מסאדיגורה, רבי מרדכי שלום יוסף פרידמן שליט״א, אספה את ספרי הקודש השרופים וקיימה טקס קבורה מרגש, כשברקע תחושות המזכירות את השואה. למרות ההרס, קהילת סאדיגורה הביעה נחישות ואמונה כי בית הכנסת ישוקם וישוב לעמוד כמגדלור של תורה, תפילה ומורשת חסידית.
