The East Jerusalem communities have been among the hardest hit by the disease over the past few months and have some of the highest rates of infection anywhere in the country. In partnership with the municipality, United Hatzalah sent local volunteers to combat the spread of the disease during the current lockdown by holding a procession in the neighborhoods to increase awareness of the health regulations in place and thus prevent the spread of the disease. In this video, the volunteers, many of whom live in these neighborhoods, take a short break during the procession to pray. ◆◆◆◆◆◆◆ United Hatzalah is Israel's largest volunteer emergency medical service that provides free, volunteer-based emergency response throughout Israel.
