Nir Dorfman’s Kiddish Hashem | Kiddush Hashem Newsletter
United Hatzalah volunteer Nir Dorfman was davening shacharis as an avel for his mother when he received a notification of a serious trauma call nearby. He was left with a dilemma: does he stay to say kaddish for his mother, or does he go out and save a life? He decided that it would be a nachas ruach to his mother in shomayim if he would go and save a life. Quickly taking off his tefillin, he jumped on his ambucycle and arrived first on the scene, applying direct pressure on an arterial bleed until paramedics arrived. Taken from an interview with Menachem Toker on channel 13, Nir shares his philosophy in saving lives and how he managed to treat over 3,000 people over the last year.
