Unlike many other cars that require you to touch the steering wheel every 30 seconds, this system is designed to work seamlessly as long as it detects your eyes on the road and clear lane markings. It’s perfect for long drives or busy highways—providing a smooth, hands-free driving experience. In this video, I test out the system in the Subaru Touring model, showcasing how well it works even in real-world conditions. From sharp turns to steady highway cruising, the EyeSight system keeps you centered in your lane while ensuring you’re paying attention. However, if it can’t detect the lanes (e.g., during snow or poor visibility), it prioritizes safety by disabling lane assist.
