Cantor Pinchas Borenstein - Hashkeivainu

Cantor Pinchos Borenstein was born in Warsaw, Poland in 1902 and died in Buenos Aires on June 17th 1955. He was State Chazzan of Argentina and was Chazzan Rishon at the Paso Shul on Paso Street in Buenos Aires. He was walking on Florida Street when he got a heart attack. Buenos Aires was bombed and there were riots that day; it is said that he suffered a heart attack when he heard that his shul was burning
