Erik (Tzvi) Tischler MSW, LCSWR Has spent the past decade and a half working as a clinical therapist in the ultra Orthodox communities of Rockland and Orange counties In NY. His work with people suffering from the ill effects of trauma and misguided coping skills such as addiction and sexual compulsively has been well received by clients, families, groups, community leaders and referral agencies throughout the US, Canada and Israel. He has worked in emergency rooms, drug alcohol rehabs and in patient psychiatric units in the Bon Securs Hospital system, St Vincent’s medical center, he is the former clinical director of the VLE wilderness program, and currently has a full time private practice in Rockland county NY. Has trained in AEDP, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, EMDR, TIST and consults regularly with Dr. Janina Fisher.
