Palm Gardens Center opened its Short-Term Rehabilitation Unit in the mid 1990′s, parlaying our high caliber expertise and professional excellence to develop a superlative rehab setting that maximizes the potential of every patient. Today, known as the Penthouse Rehab, we have an entire floor exclusively dedicated to the short-term patient – self-contained with its own spacious gym, lounges, dining room and amenities. Our certified Ventilator Unit is one of the largest in the five boroughs and has earned a sterling reputation for outstanding ventilator and respiratory care. We take pride in our high success rate in weaning patients from ventilator dependency, as they learn to breathe on their own once again. Our Dialysis Center, under the leadership of Nephrologist Dr. Robert Krinsky, is conveniently located on our ground floor, making it as easy as possible to access. This state-of-the-art center will offer a full range of inpatient and outpatient renal services utilizing the latest hemodialysis equipment and technology.
