Honoring Orit & Seth Gribetz: A Decade of Giving with Colel Chabad
A decade ago, Orit & Seth Gribetz were introduced to Colel Chabad during a mother-daughter Bat Mitzvah mission in Israel. They volunteered at Pantry Packers, packaging food for those in need, and over the years, their family continued to be involved. Through these experiences, they sought to teach their children the value of chesed—not just by showing them those who have less, but by demonstrating the joy and fulfillment that comes from giving back. On October 7th, as they returned from Israel, they realized the scale of the growing need across the country. Turning to Colel Chabad was a natural choice. With its well-established infrastructure and ability to deliver help swiftly and efficiently, Colel Chabad has been unmatched in addressing the urgent needs of those most affected. This year, they commemorate the first yahrzeit of Orit’s father, who instilled in them the importance of community and spreading Jewish values. Remarkably, his yahrzeit coincides with the yahrzeit of the first Lubavitcher Rebbe, the founder of Colel Chabad. Accepting this honor is their way of continuing his legacy and teaching their children to prioritize community, giving, and compassion. Colel Chabad stands as a beacon of hope, and they are proud to support an organization that embodies the values they strive to pass on to the next generation.
