This video was originally broadcast on Israel's Kan 11 news as part of a series on everyday heroes who made a major impact over the past year. Two EMTs, David Krispel and Vicki Tiferet, are reunited with Irena and Zohar Shumacher and their new baby girl Alice. The first time they met, David and Vicki helped Irena and Zohar after they crossed the border from Ukraine into Moldova. After their ordeal Irena could no longer feel the fetus moving inside her.
