Crane Collapse at the Acres Enclave Shul Construction Site

A construction crane collapsed earlier at the site of the new Acres Enclave shul construction on Acres Road and Bakertown Road. The collapse triggered a massive emergency response, with Kiryas Joel Hatzolah, Kiryas Joel Fire Department, KJ Public Safety, and State Police all rushing to the scene. A 15-passenger van was completely crushed in the accident. Yet in what can only be described as huge nissim, despite the total destruction of the vehicle, not a single person was injured! No one was inside the van at the time, and the area that’s usually filled with workers and passersby was suddenly quiet at that exact moment.
