At a wedding in Antwerp, it was agreed that Rabbi Chaim Kreiswirth, the city’s Chief Rabbi, would officiate the Siddur Kiddushin. Moments before the chuppah, he noticed the groom’s grandfather, Rabbi Yosef Tzvi Dunner of London, and insisted that he take the honor. Each rabbi refused out of respect for the other.
