“We Don’t Train Until We Get It Right — We Train Until We Don’t Get It Wrong”
Meet Daniel, a United Hatzalah volunteer who saw how Mass Casualty training prepares you for the moments that matter most. During a recent drill, the scenario was a terror attack at a school. What made it feel real was that Daniel’s two sons played the role of wounded students. A week later, the training became reality. Just across the street from where volunteers had practiced tourniquets and wound packing, a shooting terror attack took place in Neve Yaakov. The skills they had just trained were the same ones that helped save lives that night. Daniel spent hours responding to the psychotrauma crisis, relying on the preparation and skills from the drill to guide him.
