In all the panic of today’s turbulent times, I turned to Hashem on a spiritual level, and felt the need to express myself musically. This song and lyrics by Avi Kunstler takes us out of these times of quarantine, into a time where we could just knock on another Jew’s door and be welcomed in with open arms. I also, as in the song, have “virtually” knocked on some doors of people I have never met and I was fortunate to receive affirmative responses to join me in making music together. I’d like to thank the very talented Ilan Eckhardt for playing piano and a special thanks to Aryeh Tiefenbrunn for bearing the most weight by playing the bass, electric guitars, percussion (drums); and for editing and mixing the music. Special thanks to Avi Kunstler for allowing me to perform his song. Yours truly, is on acoustic guitar, flute, trumpet, and vocals.
