In this gateway where our feet stand, our personal existence is defined. If I am facing exile and my back is turned to redemption, than that is all I'll be able to perceive. However, if my back is turned to exile and my heart and eyes are longing for the redemption, that is what my reality will be. From all eternity of the Jewish Nation, our past as well as our future, we have been the special ones chosen now to stand in the gateway. We are the bridge between the past and the future, between darkness and Light, and between exile and redemption. And it is us, lovers and seekers of peace to Jerusalem, whom King David blessed in his book of Psalms, with serenity.
