I'd Rather pray and sing-by MBD (Mordechai Ben David Wedeger) was released in 1977. Played by the Kumzitzer rebbe- Rabbi Yaakov kranz. Here and there I'm reminded of old songs and get an urge to cover it. This is one of those songs that I've always liked.
