BSSP Shomrim responds swiftly to a group distributing counterfeit currency on 13th Ave

Boro Park Shomrim responded swiftly to multiple calls for a trio making purchases on 13th Avenue using counterfeit currency. The group- which consisted of two males and a female, entered several stores along the Avenue and bought inexpensive items paying for them with fake hundred dollar bills. The Shomrim volunteers followed them as they attempted to flee by car until 17th Avenue and 50th Street where responding NYPD Officers from the 66 precinct initiated a car stop and took the group into custody.
