Tehillim Gathering with chizuk from Rabbi Doniel Lander

In light of the perilous situation confronting our fellow brothers and sisters in Israel, each and every member of the Queens community were urged to participate in a gathering of Inspiration and Tehillim reading to beseech Hashem’s mercy through our unified prayer. The gathering took place on Saturday night October 17th 2015 at congregation Nachlas Yitzchak (Rav Oelbaum’s Shul) in Kew Gardens Hills, Queens NY. The event was sponsored by the CHAZAQ Organization in conjunction with Chickens for Shabbos. Yaniv Meirov of Chazaq welcomed the community to the gathering and introduced Rabbi Doniel Lander, Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshiva Ohr HaChaim who gave words of Chizuk which was followed by the recital of Tehillim by Rabbi Akiva Grunblatt and Rabbi Dovid Harris the Roshei Yeshivas of Yeshiva Chofetz Chaim along with Rabbi Hershel Welcher of Congregation Ahavas Yisrael.
