NSCY Hatzalah Rescue MCI Drill 2025
40 teenagers from the United States, Canada, and Panama graduated from the NCSY Hatzalah Rescue program, a joint initiative by United Hatzalah and NCSY. After completing a 60-hour EMS training course, they were tested in a mass casualty incident drill at Park Mexico in the Ben Shemen Forest, where 50 actors simulated a mass shooting. Guided by experienced EMTs, the teens performed triage, provided initial treatment, and transported victims to ambulances. The newly certified EMRs then joined United Hatzalah volunteers on real-life ambulance shifts across Israel to gain hands-on experience. As Leight Legacy Heroes, these teens will return home as ambassadors for United Hatzalah, sharing their experiences and commitment to lifesaving with their communities. ------- United Hatzalah is Israel's largest volunteer emergency medical service that provides free, volunteer-based emergency response throughout Israel.
