Howard Lutnick Tells Inspirational 9/11 Story at United Hatzalah New York Gala

Howard Lutnick shared the story of how his life was saved on 9/11 at United Hatzalah's 2024 New York Gala, which he and his wife Allison chaired. The Lutnicks are known for their philanthropic response to 9/11 when their company, Cantor Fitzgerald, which occupied the 101st-105th floors of One World Trade Center, lost 658 of their employees, including the brother of CEO Howard Lutnick. For five years, Cantor Fitzgerald donated a quarter of its profits to the families of their workers killed on 9/11 and paid for their health care for 10 years. On each anniversary of that horrific day, Cantor Fitzgerald invites celebrities to work their phones and donates 100% of revenue generated that day to charity. United Hatzalah's 2024 New York Gala was the first major event of the organization since the horrific October 7th attack and massacre. It is meaningful that this event was chaired by Allison and Howard Lutnick, as they brought their lifelong commitment to crisis support to United Hatzalah.
