Eli Beer receives Presidential Award for Volunteerism

On July 6, 2011 Eli Beer received the Presidential Award for Volunteerism, from President Shimon Peres, for establishing and sustaining United Hatzalah of Israel. United Hatzalah of Israel is a non-profit emergency medical first response organization that provides its lifesaving services at no-cost to the person in need and without regard to race religion or national origin. Over 1500 medics, paramedics and doctors from around the State of Israel save lives by responding to emergency calls within their vicinity often in under 2 minutes.
