Dovy Walter of Blitz Auto Blitz Auto is currently based in the tri-state area, but that doesn't mean that they only service three out of the 48 contiguous states. “ We’re willing to fly nationwide to service other regions, we‘ve even done jobs as far away as Chicago.” Blitz retrofits construction vehicles, so that they’re not just more useful, they improve a business’s bottom line. “ Know how long it takes a worker to go down ten stories in Manhattan to get a screw he forgot?” He asks- “Twenty-five minutes!” And in business, as we all know, time IS money. Blitz makes sure you have what you need, where you need it in your vehicle. That translates to a more efficient process, as well as needing less manpower ( saving businesses money) and more time (making businesses more money) So how did Dovy Walter get into this business? He went to work young, and since he loved emergency vehicles, ( what kid doesn't?) he gravitated to businesses that made use of them. Eventually, this led to him building his own business. “ I love what I do. There’s nothing like the challenge of taking vehicles and upfitting them so everything necessary is there in the most practical, accessible way. I probably would do it as chesed if it wasn't my business!” It takes a lot of out-of-the-box thinking to do this, but that’s what the Blitz excels at. Why is he a repeat exhibitor at OJBA? “ The first year I came it was the very first time I put my business out of my circle, and there in the public eye. But the response was incredible. Suddenly I was on the map!” Magazines covered him, and his business grew well beyond the Monsey area to the whole of the tri-state. As to why he keeps coming back- “ It’s a known thing out there. OJBA basically invented the construction trade show model. You just can't miss OJBA!”
