Rabbi Yaron Reuven is explaining the importance of Oral Torah in Judaism. He highlights that the Oral Torah provides details on how to observe the 613 mitzvot, which are rooted in the Ten Commandments. He emphasizes that without Oral Torah, the written Torah is meaningless. Rabbi Reuven then discusses the prophecy in the Oral Torah about a time when many non-Jews will convert to Judaism. He explains that this will happen before the Messianic era, and that once the Messiah arrives, there will be no more conversions. This is because, once Israel is ascendant again, converting will be seen as joining the winning team, not a genuine act of faith. Rabbi Reuven stresses that even though non-Jews have fewer mitzvot to observe, the punishment for violating Noahide laws is more severe. However, Jews have a higher potential reward. He also emphasizes the concept of free will and explains that while HaShem determines the outcome of events, our actions are up to us.
