We’re 2 months into the school year, & kids are still home with no school placement —what can we do?

We sat down with R’ Yoni Morgenstern to discuss one of the hottest topics in our community — Mosdos in Lakewood. R’ Yoni explains that while it’s extremely painful when even one child is home without a school, at the same time our existing Mosdos are overwhelmed — overcrowded classrooms, overworked teachers, and major financial strain. Because of this, a Vaad of Rabbanim & Askanim was formed to work quietly behind the scenes — helping every single child get placed — by: • Raising funds • Adding parallel classes • Opening new schools when needed • Strengthening existing Mosdos with proper support This is real, serious work — and they’re looking for capable people to join and help.
