Atzeres regarding the גזירות גיוס/Chareidi Draft - Addressed by Gedolei Roshei Hayeshiva (Lakewood)

The Atzeres of חיזוק and תפילה began with Tehillim and was then addressed by Rav Malkiel Kotler, Rav Dovid Schustal, Rav Yitzchok Sorotzkin, and Rav Yeruchem Olshin shlit"a. A special guest, Rav Menachem Shapiro, was sent on behalf of several Gedolei Roshei Hayeshiva in Eretz Yisroel to describe the tragic matzav regarding the giyus and the important work that is being doing by the organization עזרם ומגינם to inform bochurim and yungeleit about the dangers of joining the IDF, referred to by several of the Roshei Yeshiva as שמד and העברת הדת, and help protect from recruitment and imprisonment. The event was also honored by messages from Rav Moshe Hillel Hirsch and Rav Eli Ber Wachfogel shlit"a. At the event the new קרן הצלה was founded to help those in America directly support the critical work being done in Eretz Yisroel to fight against the גזירת הגיוס.
