43 teenagers from the United States and Canada graduated from the NCSY Hatzalah Rescue program, a joint initiative by United Hatzalah and NCSY. After completing a 60-hour EMS training course, they were tested in a mass casualty incident drill at Park Mexico in the Ben Shemen Forest, involving 50 actors simulating a mass shooting. Under experienced EMT guidance, the teens performed triage, initial treatment, and transported victims to ambulances. Following the drill, the new EMRs gained practical experience by joining United Hatzalah volunteers on real-life ambulance shifts across Israel. ◆◆◆◆◆◆◆ United Hatzalah is Israel's largest volunteer emergency medical service that provides free, volunteer-based emergency response throughout Israel.
