Ten Kavod - Give Honor

Ten Kavod proactively provides well-visits to Holocaust survivors, aging veterans of Israel’s battles for survival and other at-risk elderly people who for various reasons are alone in the world. Our United Hatzalah volunteers who participate in this program go once a week to visit the elderly in their homes. Aside from routine monitoring of vital signs, medication compliance and general health assessment, the volunteers are a much appreciated and welcomed friendly face and someone to talk to for a few minutes.
