Two Children Seriously Injured After Illegal Fireworks Explode in Boro Park

Two children suffered serious injuries after illegal fireworks exploded at the intersection of 9th Avenue and 57th Street in Boro Park. The fireworks were set off by a group of youngsters, and the explosion resulted in one child sustaining a severe hand injury, while the other was injured in the head. Emergency personnel from EMS, NYPD, and Hatzolah responded quickly to the scene and provided immediate care. The NYPD’s bomb squad unit has been dispatched and has launched an investigation into the explosion.
