At the same time, several dozen protesters affiliated with extremist factions gathered outside the draft office to demonstrate against the enlistment and attempt to disrupt the proceedings. During the protest, demonstrators shouted slogans toward the new recruits. At a certain stage, police declared the gathering unlawful. Several protesters were arrested on suspicion of disturbing public order, while police forces worked to disperse the protest, secure the area, and ensure the safety of those arriving at the enlistment office. According to police, reinforced forces were deployed around the Tiberias draft office throughout the event.
